So our last few days in Cambodia before heading back to Thailand was interesting. Our driver Kriss took us around the temples early AM for sunrise photos at Ankgor Wat. A bit cloudy, so the pics weren't all that great. Our driver I think was definitely flirting with the girls saying how lonely he was at night time as well as continuing to talk about Cambodian love songs. We all handled it well though. He did ask if any of the girls were my girlfriends. I said we all met on the internet :). I think we should played along that story line more to get off the subject of his heartache. If I were to yelp our driver, only 2.5 stars.
All of us are attreacted to the freaking' bugs! I counted at least 25 bug bites on arms and legs. Also my pinky toe was bitten by a large black ant, hella hurt. Jill is still attracting street kids. I just put my sunglasses on, with a poker face and not make any eye contact.
We also saw a flooded, fishing village. Way poor conditions. All the houses were on stilts and you get around by boats only. It felt weird taking pictures of the people and their homes; I hope they were not offended.
Next morning we got a shuttle bus to Phnom Penh, 4.5 hours. The driver ran over a dog. Will probably be lunch or dinner for someone. Phnom Penh is a large and dusty/dirty city. Also very poor. Street babies just pee right in front of the fruit stands. I passed by this fruit stand and smelled the worse garbage ever, but it turned out to be durian fruit smell!!! Holy shit, that smelled bad; first time ever smelling it.

We checked out Toung Seleng (sp?) Museum which was a prison/interrogation jail for those accused of crimes against the Khemer Rouge. Very sad, over 2000 people were tortured and killed. It began to rain hard again, so we skipped Choulok (sp?) killing fields.
I think I've showered 2-3x/day. I even ran in the am once to get some exercise. I think I lost a few lung cells from breathing the pollution.
Can't wait to get back to Thailand. Even though Cambodia was culturally a cool place to visit, I probably won't be back. If you do go, 2-3 days on Siem Reap, and 1 day in Phnom Penh is enough to see everything. Also bring plenty of bug spray or creme with Deet!
